Michael Jordan’s Last Game

Michael Jordan Basketball has long been one of America’s favorite sports. And lucky for us, this country is loaded with fantastic basketball teams that never fail to bring about the most thrilling games. When we speak of the game, at some point we remember basketball greats- the people who have brought a new face to the game- full of fun, thrills and excitement.

Just this April 16th was the 6th anniversary of the last time that basketball legend, Michael Jordan, played with his team, the Washington Wizards. He had been playing for this rather unknown team for awhile; he made them famous. But unfortunately, even with his presence, the team did not have enough great players then to win the games of the season. After a couple of attempts at a comeback, this time, Michael Jordan finally retired for good.

Today, he is taking care of the Charlotte Bobcats as a managing director as well as one of the owners of the team. He is also, at the same time, grooming his sons to become better men now that they are all grown up. He does not exactly force them to be like him but as expected, his sons have developed an inclination for basketball and he is simply there to support them. Jeff and Marcus, who both played as guards at Loyola are doing pretty well playing basketball. He always gives them pieces of advice such as not forcing them to become like him, to do what they want and not necessarily follow in his footsteps.

Michael Jordan still has existing contracts with various products such as clothes and shoes. Interestingly enough, this year, he has released a new pair of shoes simply branded Air Jordan 2009, which retails for about $190.

Surely, we will not forget Michael Jordan. From this generation to the next, some names of players of one of America’s most loved past time will always be remembered. Michael Jordan, perhaps the biggest name in basketball, will always have a place in the hearts of every basketball fan.
